DEAD CENTRE — LOCAL SCENE SPECIAL

Just show up.
This one is about the local ecosystem — giving space, trust and energy back to the people who keep the party alive. Expect the familiar Dead Centre pressure: playful, no-rules selections drifting across house, techno, broken beat and wider underground territory, guided by the room rather than a running order.
At Dead Centre, DJs matter — but they’re not everything. The dancefloor, the shared energy, the people who show up month after month are what shape this party.
Come as you are. Move freely. Dance to good underground electronic music.
Free entry all night.

HOUSE & DISCO — ARCHER
Friday the 13th welcomes the return of Archer — and there’s no bad luck here.
A house and disco enthusiast rooted in warmth, grace and feel, Archer brings thoughtful selections drawn from what he proudly calls God’s Country and beyond. His approach is humble, deeply informed and guided by intuition rather than ego — music chosen because it works, not because it shouts.
A Caergwrle Disco Club regular and Lovedrop resident, Archer made his Dead Centre debut last year — and it left a mark. North Wales based, with strong ties to the Shire, this one’s about good people, good energy and proper records.
Free entry all night.

MON DISCOTHEQUE

Rotary mixer enthusiast and dedicated wax collector Gary Tichopad digs deep for rare disco cuts, house gems and funky 7-inch specials, delivered with patience, restraint and serious musical knowledge. Humble and understated in approach, his sets are about feel, flow and authenticity rather than shortcuts.
Versatile and eclectic, Gary’s selections move effortlessly between eras and moods, built record by record for people who actually care about what’s coming out of the speakers.

DEAD CENTRE: Innerkey & Drewy
Dead Centre returns with residents Innerkey and Drewy at the controls. Familiar pressure resumes — playful, no-rules selections moving freely across house, techno, broken beat, and wider electronic territory. Free entry all night.
The emphasis remains firmly on the local dancefloor: shared energy, open minds, and a community that continues to show up and care. Nothing here is fixed. Each month shifts subtly, responding to the room, the moment, and the collective mood.
While the DJs meet in the middle, the heart of Dead Centre has always been the people — wall to wall — who shape the party into what it becomes. As the series evolves through the year, expect a small number of carefully chosen underground guests to pass through, quietly surprising a sleepy town in the heart of Shropshire.
That said, the soul of Dead Centre remains rooted in the local scene: investing in community, creating space, opening doors, and giving back wherever possible.
If you align with the ethos, we want to hear from you.
Mixes, introductions, and conversations are always welcome.

Resident DJ Night: Cat Ellis
A Friday night DJ session with Cat Ellis, Dead Centre–affiliated resident and one of the scene’s quietly emerging selectors. Free entry all night.
Cat’s relationship with dance music was shaped on the dancefloor long before stepping behind the decks. Now based in rural Wales, she’s spent years deeply immersed in underground culture, developing a sound guided by knowledge, care, and long-term commitment. Her journey stretches from House of God to intimate, non-commercial Ibiza villa parties and beyond.
Her selections move fluidly through disco, soul, house, techno, and funk - favouring warm grooves, subtle shifts in energy, and a playful touch that keeps the room engaged. Bright, bubbly, and quietly uplifting, without ever losing its underground grounding.
This marks the start of Cat’s monthly residency - every third Friday of the month - representing the wider Dead Centre ecosystem with feel-good, endorphin-boosting sounds and plenty more to come.

DEAD CENTRE: INNERKEY (ALL NIGHT LONG)
Dead Centre returns for 2026 with an all-night-long set from its founder, Innerkey. One DJ. One room. Full control from open to close. Free entry all night.
A familiar presence in the local underground, Innerkey has quietly built a reputation as a producer and selector with a wide but carefully considered reach. For this Valentine’s special, he takes the room on a five-hour journey - moving through deep, dubby, and slightly off-kilter electronic sounds, swung rhythms, rare grooves, and lesser-heard cuts pulled from across the spectrum.
The focus is on flow rather than flash. Records are chosen for their feeling and function, progressing patiently from warm, low-slung textures into more playful, rhythmic territory as the night unfolds. With the past six months spent largely in the studio, the set will also feature first-time plays, offering an early glimpse into where things are heading next.
This night marks the start of a new chapter for Dead Centre - a monthly series rooted in the local scene and the wider dance music ecosystem, with an emphasis on longevity, community, and sound over hype.
All night long. No shortcuts. Just music that moves.
